The infamous "horse trail." This trail joins up with the toll road at the top (near the one-mile marker), and with Eaton Canyon at the bottom. Much shorter than starting at the bridge, but it requires a lot of stamina. You can easily expend as much energy climbing this steep trail as you would climbing most of the way to Henninger, which is a lot farther!
